99 Chevy Tahoe-Need to change rear end fluid. What's the easiest correct way?

Hi Norman, Super mechanic here. The easiest way would be to have someone else do it, (lol)

But for you to do it yourself, you will want to have a fluid pump that will have a hose small enough to fit into the rear end of your Tahoe. (3/8" to 1/2")

Then you can suck it out and dispose of it and then just put in the new fluid with the tapered top they give you with it and scueeze the new fluid in untill it starts to comoe out the hole. Then it is full. Thanks

I think you need to remove the plug on the upper side of the rear end to remove and refill. What do you remove the plug with and what size?
Yes, it is a 3/8" square drive. You can use a 3/8" extension about 3" long with a 3/8" ratchet.
