2001 tahoe: my tow haul light wont trailer

have a 2001 tahoe and my tow haul light wont come on when i activate it why?????????????? is ther a fuse it worked last time i towed my trailer but now nothing

I would remove the upper and lower shrouds from the steering column and check the little wires between the shift lever and where the switch plugs in. These wires are prone to break over time from the steering column being moved up and down. If they are broken then you would need to order a new shift lever with the tow/haul switch built-in.
