With the engine cool, carefully remove radiator and/or coolant reservior cap. NEVER OPEN ANY COOLANT SYSTEM CAP WHILE THE ENGINE IS WARM!
If filling radiator directly, fill completely, rinse sealing surfaces of radiator cap and mating surface on radiator, and carefully reinstall cap.
If filling coolant reservior, fill to "COLD" level if marked (if there is no cold fill level marked, generally the reservior should be 1/4-1/2way filled while the engine is cold)rinse sealing surfaces of reservior cap and mating surface on reservior, and carefully reinstall cap.
Start engine, and let engine reach operating temperature.
Check for leaks.
If coolant reservior was filled and there was no cold fill level marked, with the engine running at operating temperature (WITHOUT REMOVING CAP), observe coolant level in the reservior and ensure that it coincides with the "HOT" level marking.
