Reply to Davo/diablo666's Post: dryer compressor and orifice. i want to replace the old stuff, get the system flushed and then hook up the lines.... so really what im asking is if i install the new stuff and dont hook up the compressor wiring harness and the hoses, seal the hoses off and the new parts can i drive to get the system flushed?

You can hook up the wiring but not the hoses. The drier(accumulator on your truck)should be removed and left off until after the flush is done so the evaporator can be flushed.Oil will need to be added and a vacuum pulled on the system prior to charging. My opinion is if the system is working don't change anything. The orifice will need to be left out for flushing also.
