That sounds like there was a glitch with the LG firmware. If it happens again follow these steps please>
If there is a glitch in the software and the Phone needs to reboot, try and force a reboot > Hold the power button down for about 60 seconds or until the LG logo appears on the screen then the phone should operate normally.
