I will begin our discussion today with some questions to better understand your concerns. How has the appetite, fluid intake, urinating and defecation been? Has she been vaccinated?

Will it be possible to send some photos of the affected area?

Customer
she has been vaccinated
Customer
everything with the food consuming and water intake is fine, despite the time she was sick
Customer
No problem with urinating and defecation
Customer
I have already gently wiped her nose with a damp cotton ball
Has there been any nasal or ocular discharge?
Customer
as I mentioned before

Do you have any pictures of the debris/area?

Customer
It is like a black discharge but the nose is not runny. It is wet all the time though somehow

If the wetness is more clear and not colored like yellow/green, and all other signs are normal this is a very good sign also. Some cars may have slightly more nasal discharge at times as a wet nose can be normal. Then as they are more curious/head low to the ground checking things out can be common for more black debris to accumulate/adhere to the area. This can give the appearance of an issue but not so much. Keeping the area more cleaned with warm water and also chlorhexidine medicated wipes that can be found at the pet store or Amazon can be most be helpful to prevent infection on the skin. Chlorhexidine kill bacteria and yeast on the skin and also is most beneficial to keep area more cleaned off.

Customer
Ok thank you so much for your help

Generally when there is an upper respiratory/sinus infection there may be more yellow/green discharge from nose and eyes. More sneezing too. As do not hear any signs of this then not so much likely to be an issue. Just why I asked to clarify a second time on those issues. I have a lot of cats too). See this on a few of mine from time to time too))
