Good job on that! So that looks like a spot that he's caught / poked / scratched at. The ear itself as far as the canal looks good. There isn't debris down in it to be suspect for an underlying ear infection. If you can, I'd just wipe it clean and then monitor it. It may just scab over and heal and have an open dx for a cause. I'd be more worried if more were appearing or it was spreading.
Most likely no big worries. I'd be she just scratched herself and it will heal.
