Customer: One of our cats suddenly started peeing everywhere. Couches, counters, halls you name it she has peed there. I have 4 well maintained litter boxes. I have used the same type of litter her whole life.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. When did you notice this change in urination? Does the cat seem more hungry or thirsty than usual?
Customer: We first noticed it a couple weeks ago. We deep cleaned the house and made sure she knew were the boxes were. She doesn't seem to be eating or drinking more than usual.
JA: Does she also seem more tired than usual?
Customer: She does not. She does yowl more often like she does when she is in heat.
JA: What's the cat's name?
Customer: Her name is hope.
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.

If hope is not already spayed, she should be spayed. Urinary issues can be linked to an infection, bladder stones, other metabolic issue or behavioral. I suggest booking an appointment asap for a urinalysis and bloodwork to rule out underlying medical cause. If all comes back normal there are medications that work very well for behavioral urination. I hope this helps!
