Please be aware I am a licensed veterinarian, but I am not your pet’s veterinarian and cannot examine your pet, so I cannot legally provide you with any specific veterinary medical advice such as diagnosis or prescribing medication. However, I can generally speak to help you understand resources that may help you and advise you to seek medical attention.
Did you get her from a pet store, a shelter, or a breeder and are you feeding the same food she had been eating before you got her?
Is that a brand of food?
Ah, I've not seen that. I use their Babycat a lot! I really like it.
You are giving Kitten formula as in milk replacer?
How often is Mim vomiting?
The other one may be ok.
Did you say she's not been eating well since you got her?
How often does she vomit? It's after every meal?
Do you feel she's underweight ?
Has she been to the vet yet?
Does she have long hair and could that explain the vomiting?
Do you know how long ago she was at the vet? They should be getting their shots starting at 6 weeks of age and then every 3 to 4 weeks until they are four months old.
Oh just if she's eating her own hair when grooming, and she could have hairballs.
I was wondering if that was a possibility. Because vomiting so frequently is definitely not normal and is concerning.
Does she ever have diarrhea?
Do you feel that any of what she's eating is getting through and she's having enough poop? Or is she vomiting up everything she eats?
That's good. Did they tell you when she was next due for her shots?
If she's 9 weeks old now, I'm presuming she had only one set so far?
Good and they will check the stool sample at that time.
But vomiting is not normal like this so are you 100% certain she's not getting into anything, whether toxic or a foreign object? Chewing on a plant?
That's good. I don't like it if she's feeling underweight to you. Do you feel that her gums are pale or that her energy level isn't what it should be?
Would you consider taking her into the emergency if you don't feel that she's taking in enough calories? I would worry about low blood sugar at her age if she's vomiting whatever she tries to eat which can cause seizures or even be fatal.
When she goes to eat, does she have enthusiasm to eat or is she not acting particularly hungry?
I would also consider parasites at this age causing vomiting as a possibility.
That may just be her personality then.
It's hard to know with her being new to you.
I will be turning in soon, is there anything else I can help you with this evening?
