Lot to say, don't leave me too soon. My Presley will be 16
My Presley will be 16 next mo. & last year was diagnosed with early KD. He has had several teeth removed over time & some crowning's. His blood-work was fine in 2015. Anyway, He was put on Hill Sc Diet & famotidine. After 8-9 mo's he stopped eating it. I tried other foods such as Rachael Ray , Purina 1 Urinary food, and a few other's. Took him back in Feb 2019. Dr. put him on Epakitin bec. his phosphorous levels were too high. & Sub Q. fluid's. Now he has completely gone down hill. He eats, he drinks, he's urinating ok. But now I've had to give him a li'l MIralaax to help him poop He's lost so much weight, and yes he is depressed. He is hardly able to walk. I am having a hard time letting him go. Is there a possible infection? Or is it time for me to bite my lip? He's been with me since he was 4 weeks old. But he is isolating himself. If he can't poop he, moans, and groans. I've also for pain been giving a little Bayer baby aspirin because he too has a slight heart murmur … read more
