A colony of 6 cats live outside my house outside of the San
A colony of 6 cats live outside my house outside of the San Francisco Bay area. three of the cats are about 1 year old - their mom was in the colony and I had her fixed after she gave birth; I still plan to get her three 1-year old "kittens' fixed. One of the kittens - a domestic short-hair - stopped eating about 4 days ago and has rapidly lost weight. I can now easily feel her backbone and I couldn't a week or two ago. An now she seems to be slightly wobbly, i.e. unsteady when she walks. She doesn't cry, her eyes are clear, no nose or eye discharge, but something serious is happening. I'll probably nee to get her to a vet, although it will no be easy because she is a wild cat (not feral, however, I've been told because she will let me touch and pick her up. Thank you … read more
