He is vomiting his food up

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What sort of animal are we talking about?

A 4 year old cat

Veterinarian's Assistant: OK. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the cat eat anything unusual?

I am trying to get him to lose weight. So when he does eat he eats very quickly and gulps it down. I just gave him his normal dried for for dinner last night

Veterinarian's Assistant: What is the cat's name and age?

Felix and he is 4 years old

Veterinarian's Assistant: How old is Felix?

He is four

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Felix?

When I let him outside he bring lizards backs and eats them. Maybe this has something to do with the vomiting. I also bought him recently special dried food for furball control and bought him an intestinal wormer from coles.

I understand your 4 year old cat Felix vomited all his food up. I have a few questions for you:

1. How long has this been going on?

2. Any food changes recently?

Sorry, I just read that you did change food recently.

Food changes can lead to gastrointestinal upset and vomiting in cats. A good first step would be to switch back to his previous food. If the vomiting continues in spite of that, have your vet check him over.
