Need to euthanaize our 13 pound cat

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What seems to be the problem with the cat?

Need to euthanize our cat asap

Veterinarian's Assistant: Where does the cat seem to hurt?

Stomach tumor not eating, drinking and in pain

Veterinarian's Assistant: OK. No obvious pain. Some lumps are serious and some aren't. Let's see what the Veterinarian has to say. What is the cat's name and age?

Leonard, 13 years, yes there is pain we believe

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Leonard?

Leonard is 13 pds, cannot eat or drink but vets are saying 400$, 200$ euthanaiize, 200$ to cremate we dont have 400$, we have 200$

You don't have to have your kitty cremated...you can bring his remains home and bury him yourself......

Ask Your Own Cat Veterinary Question
Cat Veterinarian: Dr B, Cat Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Just get him humanely euthanized and take his remains...I hope that makes sense...

Ask Your Own Cat Veterinary Question
Cat Veterinarian: Dr B, Cat Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

You could also call another vet for another estimate....euthanasia fees vary significantly from clinic to clinic....

Ask Your Own Cat Veterinary Question

but overall much cheaper to bury your pet yourselves....can I answer any other questions for you or help you in any way?
