Hello,This is a quick follow-up...
Hello,This is a quick follow-up to our previous chat on Spooky, my cat. I just noticed that he has some form of tremors. His muscles, especially those around his legs, keep twitching and jerking spontaneously and he shakes as if he has a cold (I even turned off the air conditioning to see if it is the temperature but it continued). His tail also makes this involuntary movement as well.Is this expected after a neuter operation or should I have reason to visit the vet again? (remember that I said I don't have much faith in the vet here. He specialises in dogs really but he's the only one available).

He also seems to be hot when I checked his temperature with my hands.

Hi again! Sorry for my delay as I was off line until now. Has the "tremors" gotten any better since you posted there earlier? Has he ate or drank since these were noticed?

They've reduced but I can still observe it. He has eaten and drank a little.
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
I should add that he just pooped this morning. Although he hasn't peed. I also noticed that his penis enclosure is a little swollen and he has licked it twice already.
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
I should also mention that he threw up a salivary content this morning after eating.
Cat Veterinarian: Dr. Bruce, Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

I like that he ate and drank a little. The little swelling at the penis enclosure area / scrotum, that isn't surprising. The little vomit this morning, that has me more concerned. Did he vomit up less than he ate? Is he on any pain medications or antibiotics at this time?

Ask Your Own Cat Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
He didn't vomit what he ate. What he vomitted was a clear spit-like liquid. He's not on any pain medication. The vet didn't prescribe any. He's also emaciating but not very distressing for now.
Cat Veterinarian: Dr. Bruce, Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

That is good that he didn't bring up any food. At this time, could his stomach be finally settling down? That is the unknown. I would want to see him improving with his appetite and drinking here in the next day or so. I wouldn't want to see this material being brought up more.
