Wow 24 years old, that's great!

How is Princess acting right now?

Ask Your Own Cat Veterinary Question

I hope Princess is doing ok -

Even if there was some food in the vomit, she should have absorbed enough to offset the insulin. I would not give her any more insulin right now as it may push her blood sugar down too much.

As long as she is willing to eat something later on when she is due again at her normal insulin time, that would be ok to give her the insulin usual dose. If she doesn't seem to have her appetite/isn't interested in food, then it would be safest to skip a dose of insulin and just wait until her next regular injection time, and make sure she is eating before you give her an injection. If she is refusing food 2 meals in a row, it would be best to check in with your regular vet.

Does that help?
