Good morning.

Dr. Paul Brazzell here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Is there any nasal discharge? Discharge from the eyes?

Still eating?

still eating and no discharge. our other cat had a discharge from nose, but is better now after a round of antibiotics

Thanks.

Great history.

No doubt this is a viral upper respiratory tract infection.

Here is what we will do:

Put kitty in bathroom and turn shower on hot for ten minutes

Repeat three times a day for a few days

Buy some L-Lysine and give 250.0 mg twice daily (nutrition store)

Buy some neo-synephrine and put one drop in alternating nostrils every 12 hours

You do NOT need antibiotics. This is viral and self-limiting.

Things should be sorted within 3-5 days time

Okay?
