Customer Question

Hi. My cat is 14 with hyperthyroidism. Tonight she's been making an ongoing gagging sound and I wonder if she needs a vet visit. She doesn't seem in pain, but I can see it's not letting her sleep. She did vomit up quite a bit earlier these evening, could it just be something itching her throat and should I wait and see if it goes away by morning?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the Veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about your cat?
Customer: Not at the moment. Thanks.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you still need help. May I have an update on your cat? Has she continued to gag? Has vomiting returned?
