Customer Question
Hello Heather, right now...

Hello Heather, right now my mature orange tabby. Little overweight. We have switched diet to a anti crystal formula. Introduced slowly, he is throwing up regularly (1-2 a day) and now diaharra that appears mucus (gelatin like). Until getting to the vet have switched to boiled pulled chicken and rice.

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the tabby eat anything unusual?

Nothing unusual.

Veterinarian's Assistant: What is the tabby's name?

Kovu

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Kovu?

Last blood work showed property that causes crystals to bind, causing he blockage. He is 2-3 lbs overweight. 14.2 at 12 yrs.

What is he bringing up in his vomit?

What color is the diarrhea?

Can he keep any water down?

Are his gums pink or white/pale? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Could he have eaten anything harmful (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?
