Have Cat Questions? Ask a Cat Vet Online.
Greetings, I’m Dr. Peck, a small animal veterinarian in general practice. Hopefully I might be of some help. One moment while I reply…
It sounds like Wally bit your ankle, and you're concerned about clear liquid coming from the bite wound on your ankle? I would suggest to seek care from an MD through a minor emergency clinic over the weekend. Cat bites are notorious for developing abscesses and thus most MDs will recommend starting antibiotics when given a significant bite wound from you cat. Other than suggesting you seek evaluation by an MD I am unable to give you medical advice for your wound as a veterinarian.
