Customer Question

Hi there, thanks for answering some questions earlier. We received more info and would like your input. The breeder emailed saying the kitten developed red conjunctiva in one eye after his bath. She sent along some drops "as a precaution." We read the most common cause of conjunctiva is feline herpes and the condition can be chronic. I don't know what the drops are or whether this is a temporary issue or something permanent (like a viral infection that could intermittently activate over the years). Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Feline herpes develops as an upper respiratory infection. ocular herpes has different symptoms. Red conjunctiva sounds more like an irritation from the bath or conjunctivitis.
