My cat has loose stools and has recently been diagnosed with

Customer Question

My cat has gray loose stools and has recently been diagnosed with the onset of kidney disease, so I changed her diet to include kidney-sensitive food. I thought gray stools indicated liver disease?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: Millie is 14
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Millie?
Customer: She seems healthy otherwise, perhaps not as playful as she used to be. She's also drinking more water than she used to. And her stool is VERY stinky!

Millie had a full blood panel a few weeks ago and everything was fine except for the kidney indication.
I would have thought a liver problem would have shown up then. But perhaps this is a new development? Can it be that quick?

Has her vet tested the stool?

When was she last wormed?

Are her gums yellow tinted at all?
