I adopted an adult cat who is now 12 years old. I don't know

Customer Question

I adopted an adult cat who is now 12 years old. I don't know how she was treated by previous owners, but she's extremely timid and runs when people walk past her. She is hard to catch. She doesn't like to be held. She has bad eczema on her rump and back where she can bite at it. It's bloody. How can I treat it if I can't catch her to give her pills?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Did the cat have a fall?
Customer: Not that I know of.
JA: The veterinarian will ask you more detailed questions to find out what is causing this. It might be a fracture. The veterinarian will know what to do. What is the cat's name?
Customer: My second entry said about eczema on her rump and back. Her name is*****
JA: Is there anything else the veterinarian should be aware of about Pretty?
Customer: Just like I said, she's skittish and timid and won't let people near her.

1) Is she on any flea/tick prevention?
2) Can you share photos of what you are seeing?
3) How long has this been an issue for her?
