Customer Question

She is an elderly cat (20 yrs) who cannot poop. We've been putting in Myralax into her food, but she pooped on Friday and hasn't eaten much, but is going in her box, trying to poop. Is there a safe type of enema that we can give her? She is losing control of her back end.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. The veterinarian will know if the cat will be able to digest that. What is the cat's name?
Customer: Josephine. An enema is not digested, it would be given anally. We would like to relieve her uncomfort.
JA: Is there anything else the veterinarian should be aware of about Josephine?
Customer: Other than the fact that she is 20 years old, no.
