Customer Question

Assistant: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I was bitten by an eight week old kitten who has not been vaccinated for rabies yet. He is an indoor pet. His paw got caught in the refrigerator door and he nicked me when I was trying to release him. Do need a Tetanus shot?

If your tetanus vaccination isn't current within 10 years, your doctor is likely to not only give you that vaccination but also prescribe a broad spectrum antibiotic such as amoxicillin/clavulanate because cat bite wounds can readily infect you. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
