Why has my litter trained 10 yr old cat started peeing

Customer Question

Why has my litter trained 10 yr old cat started peeing outside the litter box? What can I do to stop it. She just urinates a little outside the box and uses the litter for the rest and always for feces. Help!!!
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the cat?
Customer: She is healthy and eats well...weighs about 15lbs and is neutered
JA: What is the cat's name?
Customer: Grotesa

1) Does she make an attempt to go in the box and overshoot the edge or is she going in the box and also outside of the box?

2) Is she declawed?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
She urinates outside the box before she goes in and finishes...there is urine in the box. She is not declawed and this has just started recently
