Customer Question

Hello again
This is Sharon with Blackie. I wrote a few months back after she had kittens, found homes for all seven, then had her spayed and hoping to tame her so we could find her a home. Not too much luck. She has a nice room and a big closet and bathroom that she inhabits, but is so shy and hisses when I try to let her. I tried catnip toys and I think that relaxed her a bit. Sometimes she stays under a chair when I sit in the room . Winter is coming so I can't put her outside but I would love to find her a home. Any more suggestions? Thanks!!!

Hi Sharon,

I will opt out.

Hi Sharon, I was trying to respond to you and my internet crashed! But I'm here now.

Adult cats are definitely tougher than kittens to tame. They are more set in their ways and have survived by themselves long enough to know that they don't really need human contact.

Does she let you touch her at all? When you get close does she just hiss or does her body tense as well?
