my cat is having trouble stand on one of his back legs. he is eating some but isn't drinking much water. i don't think he used the litter pan today and he is being very lethargic. he is not super active but this is unusual. he is 14 years old.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Veterinarian will know how to help your cat. What is the cat's name?
Customer: Angus
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Angus?
Customer: he has always had smaller kidneys.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

How long has he been having these issues?

Is he dragging the leg or holding it up?

Is it colder than the others?

If you pinch his toe on this foot, does he react to you as if he feels it?

Any chance of a fall or trauma?
