Hello, my name is***** and I'd like to help. Your best bet is to start with no food for 24 hours to calm down the intestinal system. I'd also recommend giving over the counter Pepcid (famotidine) 1/4 tablet by mouth every 12 hours. After the 24 hour calm down, then restart the new canned food, but at lower amounts. If the diarrhea starts back up, he may not be tolerating the Avoderm.

If I have just seen my clients and their pet starts having diarrhea from a medication I started (like an antibiotic), I will let them come in and pick up either a probiotic or a safe anti-diarrhea med. Have you called your vet to ask for something like that?
