Took our 17 yr old cat to an after-hours animal hospital Sat

Customer Question

Took our 17 yr old cat to an after-hours animal hospital Sat evening. She had been regurgitating a small cream-coloured broth-like substance. Tests were performed and she seemed better.Sun and more today, she is quite lethargic and not eating or drinking much. She remains in the bedroom closet and is very subdued.Your thoughts, please!!Michael & May

Hello and thanks for trusting me to help you and Midnight today. I am a licensed veterinarian with over 30 years of experience and would be happy work with you but need a bit more information in order to better assist you if you don't mind.

What tests were performed? Bloodwork? Urinalysis? xrays? Were any abnormalities noted?

Was any medication prescribed? Was she given any fluids?

Is she still vomiting?

Thanks and I will respond further after you reply. There may be a slight delay while I formulate and type a thorough response or I may be offline, but if so, I will respond as soon as I am able.
