Hi. My name is***** Thank you for your question. You've asked a very, very good question! For some cats with quicker / more progressive dental issues, they can benefit greatly from more frequent / yearly dental cleanings. Others seem to have better overall dental health and not need as frequent of dental cleanings. A lot depends on their overall situation as a case by case basis. The better dental prophylaxis care being done, typically means that the dental health / oral health is being kept up better. In theory, better dental health leads to overall better health as the inflammation, bacterial showering and discomfort will be kept to a minimal.
