We have 5 cats from 2 different homes. One will not stop

Customer Question

We have 5 cats from 2 different homes. One will not stop attacking another one, although all other relationships are fine. The cat who attacks was in a one-cat home until we put them together, but she gets along with the other three cats originally from the four-cat home. We've tried Feliway diffusers without success, and we've tried non-violent discipline. She still stalks and attacks the other cat. What should we do?

Hi this is Dr. Hill. Cat politics can be difficult. I recommend that you look into a calming collar for the aggressor or L-theanine treats to start. Keep claws trimmed while trying to figure this out and provide the picked on kitty some extra TLC. We have used a calming collar on one of our cats with great success. I will try to post a link to it. Feel free to ask additional questions. Take Care
