Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian & I would like to help you with your wee one today.

Generally speaking, we don't usually see worms cause seizures. It can happen on rare occasion but it is quite uncommon for worms to gain access to the nervous system. More often the worms will only cause weight loss, diarrhea, and bloated bellies. So, we'd not assume that is the cause of the seizure and do need to monitor Friskie closely. Otherwise, it sounds like his mum has vomited a roundworm. So, we'd want to worm both of them (and any other kittens) now. Since he is 3 months old, you can use Fenbendazole (Panacur) from your vet. This is one we can use as early as 2 weeks of age and it will cover the worms in question. Of course, any more seizures, has pale gums (a sign of low red blood cell volume) or if he isn't acting himself just now and we'd want him checked by his vet to rule out more common causes for seizures (ie viral or bacterial infections, head trauma, epilepsy, liver shunts, anemia, etc) and address any present for him.

Please take care,

Dr. B.
