I would question the diagnosis of spay incontinence in a male cat. Urinary incontinence is far less common in cats than dogs. The most common causes are neurologic disorders or congenital abnormalities. Urethral spinicter incompetence is the most common cause in dogs, reported to affect 5-10% of spayed females, but is rarely reported in spayed female cats much less male cats.

Please tell me as much as you can about Goldie's history and signalment (signs) and how this diagnosis was made.
