Customer Question

Does this chat cost? I have a cat that may have become dehydrated. Found him yesterday evening. He doesn't act himself. I gave him water by LG syringes. He threw it up . Didn't try to drink from the water bowl. Or eat anything. I read today cats will rarely turn down human grade tuna water. So opened a pouch of good albacore I have, added filtered water, again used the syringe. I will probably try to take him to our Vet tomorrow. Anything else I can do n meantime?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Problems with drinking can be serious. I'm glad you noticed it. The Veterinarian will know what to do. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: I think he's somewhere between 3 + 1/2 & 4 + 1/2. Alvin.
JA: What is the cat's name?
Customer: His name is*****
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Alvin?
Customer: Not that I know of. Unless a weird neighbor poisoned. Really doubt that. But Alvin was out n hi heat quite awhile.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Veterinarian about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello Jeanna, my name is***** and I will help you.

But I'm going to ask a few questions:

Did you mean that Alvin was out in the heat? Was he able to get to some shade?

When you found him was he panting?

When you fed him the tuna, did he accept it and did it stay down? Any vomiting?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
He was in shade by our home when found. Could have been n shade some. But was out almost 24 hrs. I called and worried most of that time. He hasn't been panting . Seems to be breathing okay. I used the syringe again several times with cool, filtered water yesterday evening and last night. Today I fixed same with the tuna to flavor the water.

No vomiting of water so far today.

Acts like he doesn't want to do anything. Very uncharacteristic for him.

Sorry, I'm a single, disabled, so $28 for phone a bit steep for me.
