Same cat, worse this bloody discharge from both eyes and some yellow pus. i have leftover terramycin. should i restart it and get some more. i also started the lysine chews 3 days ago. help please...

I'm so sorry that I was off my computer when you requested me but thanks for doing so.

I'm sorry to hear that Kitty Kitty's eyes appear to be worse, but if you have Terramycin, then I'd definitely restart it. The yellow color to the discharge indicates a bacterial infection and this particular antibiotic is the one I typically dispense for my patients with this sort of problem.

I'd suggest a small amount 3-4 times a day for at least 7-10 days...or a little longer, if necessary. Hopefully, you'll see improvement sooner rather than later, though.

If she's starting to sneeze green/yellow material, then systemic antibiotics may be indicated; however, if only her eyes are involved, then the eye medication alone may be all that's necessary for now.
