What do I do if my 2-3 week year old baby kitten has gums

Customer Question

What do I do if my 2-3 week year old baby kitten has white gums and her poop isn't solid?

My name is***** and I have been a veterinarian for 11 years. If you kitten has white gums, then she does not have enough blood flow and oxygen in her body and may need a blood transfusion. This is an emergency and she needs to go to the emergency veterinary clinic immediately, this is not something that can be treated at home. She likely also has intestinal parasites and will need to be dewormed.
