Customer Question

Hi Pearl. My name is***** 13 yr old cat has been vomiting these past 3 days
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the cat eat anything unusual?
Customer: He's an outdoor cat but he normally eat at home. I try to give him grain free food
JA: What is the cat's name?
Customer: His name is Miko
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Moki?
Customer: Well he had an episode months ago where he had a bloated tummy. The vet did an x-ray etc and said that if the meds he gave didn't work, it might be more than just an irritated bowel
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Veterinarian about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello & welcome, Rosie. I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me: What does Miko's vomit look like? Was the diet started just before this? Was it a slow wean or quick change? Can he keep water down? Drinking more or less? Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky? If you press on his belly, does he have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?Could he have eaten something he should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, etc)?Has he had any diarrhea?
