Amber's aimless wandering and head bobbing (tremor) indicate encephal0pathy (brain disorder). Because she's diabetic, the first thing to check is her blood glucose which when either too high or low can cause those symptoms. Do you check her BGs at home? If not, an ER should do this for you. That evening shot could be life-threatening if she were already hypoglycemic prior to it. Hypertension and stroke as well as brain tumor at Amber's age need to be considered as well. Disorders outside her brain such as a poorly functioning liver or kidneys need to be considered but those cats are generally quite ill and are symptomatic in other ways than aimless wandering and tremors - anorexia, vomiting, and diarrhea, e.g.Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
