Customer Question

All of a sudden my female cat of 6 years is peeing under a living room chair on hardwood floor. Still poops in her litter box. This has been happening on and off for several months. There is no detectable smell to people and I have assiduously cleaned the area with many products ( no ammonia ).Her vet treated a urinary tract infection and several times and has since examined her and found her fine. I have tried a different litter and new litter box, am beside myself as this is ruining a beautiful hardwood floor. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Hello, this is Dr. JEss. I am so sorry to hear about your kitty! Do you know if your vet was certain there was a urinary tract infection present? Did they do a culture? Did she improve when on the antibiotics?

How long has this problem been going on for?

How many litter boxes do you have?

How many cats do you have?

Has anything changed in your kitty's day to day life? new pet? new schedule? neighborhood cats running through your yard?
