Hello, this is Dr. Jess. I am sorry to hear about your problem with Ringo. Can you tell me if Ringo has been acting normally at home? Eating and drinking normally? Using the litterbox? Any vomiting and diarrhea?

Hello? are you there?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. To answer you directly, as long as your 18 year old is acting normally otherwise, there's no urgency to have a vet see him on an emergency basis. Finding a very large swollen area on him suggests tumor or, less commonly, abscess because he would be painful and febrile with such an extensive abscess. Ringo does need to be attended to by his regular vet on Monday as long as he continues to eat and drink throughout today.
