Every cat is different, but common symptoms of pain could include:

1. BEcoming aggressive

2. Accelerated breathing or definitely open mouth breathing.

3. hissing when manipulated or lifted

4. limping

5. Sometimes, purring can even be a sign of pain

6. Refusing to eat and/or drink

7. Not using the litter box

Pain will not always exhibit with all of these symptoms. sometimes it's a few sometimes its only 1.

Identifying pain can be quite difficult, so when in doubt, a vet visit is well worth it.
