I am sorry to hear you are worried about Missy. My name is***** am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.

How many mg was in the capsule? You may see problems such as ataxia, depression, vomiting, nystagmus, seizures, and arrhythmias if she gets more than 15 mg of carbatrol per kilogram (2.2 pounds; we calculate all drug doses in mg per kg) of body weight. So, if she weighs 11 pounds, then I would be worried if she got more than 75 mg of carbatrol. If this was 300 mg carbatrol, she would have to have eaten 1/4th of a capsule. So if she only got a few grains, she will probably be fine.
