Customer Question

my puppy is 1 month and 6 weeks old, small small, last night he fell on cement from my arms, he stayed still like he was dead crooked, biting his tounge, then i picked him up started moving him all over, gave him air, he responded, but breaths heavily and he was drooling, staring into space, then, he stopped drooling this morning, yawned (opened his mouth wide) , i wet his formula and picked on it and he ate it, and drank water, still is breathing sort of heavy, please help what should i do next, i can go to the vet till tomorrow

You're seeing the symptoms of a concussed puppy who thankfully appears to be improving nicely. You're constrained by how much you can do at home. I need you to keep the pup warmed up in a 90F environment and fed regularly either by his mother or you - at least every 2 hours throughout the next 24 hour period. His vet should take a look at Rambo and might consider an osmotic diuretic such as mannitol if Rambo hasn't remissed completely by the time you can have him attended to.

Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

I'm just following up on our conversation about Rambo. How is everything going?
