Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

If you are feeding this cat, then offering soft pate style cat food would be best. If this cat is struggling to get much food in, then kitten food can be of benefit since it has more nutrition per bite and a little goes a long way.

Otherwise, if you are referring to what they should eat that they can catch themselves, they will still be able to hunt without teeth and will just have to try their best to eat what they do catch (since we cannot reason with them to choose particular wildlife to hunt).

All the best,

Dr. B.
