My cat has been back and forth from the vet for two weeks. They sasejust had imflammation in chest gave her covenia,and potassium. Another vet gave her metcam and thought is was a sprain.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. There's too much disparity between "inflammation in the chest" and a "sprain" to know just what Crissie's problem is. I can understand dosing her with an antibiotic (Convenia) if infection were diagnosed in her chest cavity but prescribing potassium would indicate a potassium deficiency as might be seen with chronic renal insufficiency. Can you tell me, please, what Crissie's symptoms were that prompted her being attended to by two vets? Have either X-rays or diagnostics in the form of blood and urine tests been performed?
