I just gave my 3 year old cat 3 Quiet Moment Calming Aid

Customer Question

I just gave my 3 year old cat 3 Quiet Moment Calming Aid with Melatonin and just read on the back that the dose is for two. Then I read an answer where the cat was acting strange after that dose. Just to be clear, I didn't just OD my cat, did I? Should I take her to the vet? I just really want to be sure I didn't hurt my cat!

Please don't be alarmed. That product contains melatonin - which is so safe it doesn't have a toxic dose; L-tryptophan - a naturally occurring amino acid; thiamine - a naturally occurring vitamin in the B-complex of vitamins; and ginger which is harmless in cats. Genevieve should remain unaffected. There's no reason to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
