Taking my hyperthyroidism cat for radioactive iodine therapy in 3 days due to gland size and highT4 but he will not eat now at all. Breathing is rapid - is there anything I can do for him?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. I'm concerned that Romeo's breathing and inappetence are danger signs for uncontrolled hypertension and thyroid cardiotoxicosis secondary to severe hyperthyroidism. This isn't something you can manage at home and so I encourage having Romeo attended to by an on-call vet at your earliest convenience. Romeo's heart needs to be carefully auscultated and his blood pressure assessed.
