A one time overdose of cephalexin (Rilexine) might cause vomiting and fever in cats but significant adverse effects with the cephalosporins such as cephalexin are usually not serious and have a relatively low frequency of occurrence. "Watchful waiting" is appropriate and supportive care necessary only if your cat vomited or suffered diarrhea to the extent that it dehydrated and became electrolyte imbalanced (unlikely).
