Customer Question

So my cat started drooling last week I took her in and they said if it stops in the next few days don't worry. And it did stop but now she is excessively meowing and she's never done that before and so I'm worried something's wrong?

In a young cat like this, I would look for calicivirus as the cause. That is an URI (upper respiratory infection) that can lead to oral ulcers and drooling. It can also cause joint pain, fever and upper respiratory signs that may lead to vocalizing.
I would get her rechecked to see if she has a fever. If so, then I would give an anti-inflammatory med to bring the fever down and manage any discomfort. I usually go with Onsior or Metacam as an anti-inflammatory in cats.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
