My cat so 2.5 years age has suddenly started to behave

Customer Question

My cat so 2.5 years age has suddenly started to behave disoriented and is behaving scared, she won't let me carry her, she appears to be stressed, her head is tilted slightly, she looks confused, her eyes are dilated, she won't sleep, she's constantly fidgeting and trying to turn her head underneath her body to try to sleep. I heard cats fighting outside and she came running when I called her and she began behaving like this immediately as soon as she came inside. She keeps moving her head tilting left and right. Can you please help me diagnose her problem! She is an outdoor cat most of the time. I'm too scared to let her go outside incase she goes missing forever and something bad happens to her.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

When did these signs start?

Does she any sores, wounds, swellings on her face or rest of her body?
If you have a good feel all over her, is she tender anywhere?

Are you sure she could have gotten into anything she should not have (ie plants, chemicals, anti-freeze, etc)?

Has she had any vomiting, retching, drooling, lip licking, or gagging?
